Sister Charm

An off-track Thoroughbred on lay-up

2012 dark bay mare by Langfuhr out of Mississippi Charm (New York)

A born-and-bred New York gal, Sister Charm was sent to the farm by her owner, Celeste Caruso, for a “lay-up, the racing term for a little equine R & R to heal from an injury.

The gregarious dark bay mare has been nicknamed Gladys by ACTT Naturally team members because, like the character on the TV show “Bewitched,” she is very nosy and interested in the affairs of her neighbors, Cairo and Comanche on one side, and Cannon and Miss Piggy on the other.
