Julie has a passion for working with the underserved and misunderstood population of people with mental illness, drug addiction, personal trauma and other life stressors. She has served on the advisory boards of the Saratoga School District Committee to revamp the health education program, the Prevention Council, and the Young Life NENY (North East New York), a nondenominational group serving the needs of the adolescent population. She was also in the first training class as a skilled friend for the Center of the Family clients in support of new single parents.
Julie’s willingness and ability to support ACTT Naturally’s participants with medical services and connect them to local counselors or psychological services as needed is a tremendous boost to our program.
Julie and her husband Pierre live in Saratoga with their adored Japanese Chin, Ruby. Pierre boards his Quarter Horse Georgey with Valerie during the months the track is closed.
