Marilyn Lane is a lifelong horsewoman and for many years trained Thoroughbreds professionally. She was a founding member of ThoroFan, a Saratoga-based organization developed to help popularize the racing experience. Marilyn provided her experience with horses and connections to the Thoroughbred industry to establish the Saratoga WarHorse Foundation. She served as that organization’s Director of Thoroughbred Industry Relations. She was selected for a Living Legacy Award for her advocacy for veterans and equine therapy by the Women’s International Center in 2014.
